GALLERY 20: Cannes Contenders - Audi

Recent issues of Campaign Screen have shown how car commercials are becoming increasingly sophisticated and entertaining. Here's another example of an insightful strategy, clever script and elegant execution. Beautifully animated car-sized fish glide lazily through an aquatically tinted city, gasping for breath and queuing at a service station to guzzle petrol, all brilliantly illustrating Audi's fuel efficiency message. Framestore CFC completed the 3D photo-realistic fish in six weeks to produce this slick and striking spot.
