Luke Forsythe once again proves that he's at home with the subtleties of comedic performance with these idents for Thomas Cook. Focusing on people who desperately need to escape from their jobs, the idents are depressing, albeit amusing, slices of life. Refreshingly, the director has kept his distance and lets the anecdotes speak for themselves. The actress in the final ad was encouraged to improvise, creating a very convincing performance.
