Gallery 27: Best of the US - Bombay Sapphire

A touching, unusual approach for spirits advertising with strong visual effects recapturing the days of Vaudeville entertainment. The setting is reminiscent of Woody Allen's Radio Days, where characters step out of celluloid to become human. The giant changes from realistic to cartoon-like within the same frame and although typographic props can often look hackneyed, here, the light bulbs or questions marks highlight the ad's surreal quality.
