The winemaker has not yet announced a formal pitch but its UK office is arranging prospective meetings with agencies through Creativebrief.
The company is looking for an agency to produce above-the-line and digital campaigns in the UK, as well as European markets including Germany, the Netherlands and Spain.
A spokeswoman for the brand told Campaign: "We have a bourgeoning portfolio of brands and are looking at putting more support behind some of those. We are having conversations with agencies but haven’t finalised any other plans."
The Assembly previously handled Gallo’s advertising in the UK. Its work included bumpers for the brand’s sponsorship of Inside Hollywood on Channel 5.
The agency has said it will not re-pitch for the account.
