Gatorade pits man against tree

SAO PAOLO - Sports drink brand Gatorade has launched a new TV ad by AlmapBBDO that shows a man pursuing a moving tree.

The ad illustrates how athletes are always looking for a new challenge and how Gatorade helps, by opening with the man deciding to run as far as a tree further down the road.

Every time he reaches the tree it reappears further away, taking him through Rio de Janeiro's streets, up to the top of a building and past a swimming pool.

The ad finishes with the tree making a getaway on a bus with the man in pursuit, with the endline 'Go further'.

The ad was created by Sophie Schoenburger, Vico Benevides and Julio Andery and directed by Bryan Buckley for Hungry Man.
