Parrott joined Hearst in 2012 as the advertising director for the entertainment brands, and was then promoted in April last year.

Before this she was commercial director at ShortList, overseeing the display and creative solutions sales teams for the magazine.

Alun Williams, the group publishing director at Hearst-Rodale, said: "Georgina brings a wealth of experience to the role, particularly in the men’s magazine sector, and I am sure she will play a pivotal role in our continued growth and innovation."
