The posters show one of the airline’s flight attendants next to the slogan, "Get ready to be surprised. Visit Germany".
A spokeswoman for Transport for London told Campaign that the body had received a request from Germanwings to remove all the posters on Tuesday, the day of the crash.
Digital panels were removed immediately and five posters have already been taken down.
