The network has appointed Tony Mehmet, Ebookers' head of advertising operations for Europe, in a similar role. He will become head of advertising operations, leading the team and overseeing pre- and post-sales delivery, production innovation and traffic management.

Prior to Ebookers, Mehmet spent seven years at News International as advertising traffic manager, responsible for The Sun and The Times among other titles.

Sam Peliza joins as project manager from sales house IDS, where she was ad sales project manager, while Aicha Srour takes up the position of sales manager.

Srour will be responsible for the management of all the main London media agencies, driving revenue out of the key buying groups and joins the team after seven years at ValueClick.

The appointments follow Glam Media’s creation of a global sales team to drive its worldwide business expansion. The company launched the international sales division, located out of London, to develop multi-country online campaigns for luxury and premium advertisers. Isabelle Sommet and Candace Droz were appointed as its co-directors.

Jane Loring, Glam Media UK managing director, said: "These senior appointments come at a very exciting time as the company continues to innovate, going from strength to strength, with 2011 already witnessing an increased demand from advertisers wanting to engage the female audience online,

"I am pleased to welcome, Tony, Sam and Aicha to the team. The new members will help support the company and the increased appetite of advertisers, especially from premium brands."
