The inaugural Media Showcase event, at The Curzon Bloombury on 29 June, is being launched in recognition of the independent agencies not getting as much airtime with media owners, according to Simeon Adams, the creative partner at Goodstuff.

Media owners must submit proposals to speak at the event, with the best ten selected by Goodstuff to be presented.

Adams said: "Our intention is to create an event that is of genuine value to the creative community and to media owners. We want to hear about the newest, shiniest, most inspiring and interesting media innovations, so we can all make the best work imaginable."

Agencies confirmed to attend include Lucky Generals, 18 Feet & Rising, Wieden & Kennedy London and Fold7.

The Media Showcase is free for selected agencies but donations will be encouraged towards Goodstuff’s charity Swan UK, which supports families affected by undiagnosed genetic disorders.

Helen Calcraft, a founding partner of Lucky Generals, said: "We salute this brilliant initiative from a fellow independent agency. It is a great way to quickly and simply educate and inspire creatives, by opening their eyes to what's out there and what's possible.

"Now more than ever, really great creativity has media choices, media partnerships and media-firsts baked in from the start. So helping to fuse our worlds can only benefit our clients and their brands."
