The government is introducing the National Living Wage at £7.20 an hour for workers aged 25 years old and older from 1 April, and has spent £5m advertising the fact.

But the Conservatives were accused of overspending on the campaign, with the Liberal Democrats uncovering the £5m spend figure and pointing out that hundreds of wages could been paid with the money.

Marketing took to High Holborn to find out what the public thought, and how visible the ad campaign has been (spoiler: not very).
