The campaign, created by CMS Dolphin, will be spearheaded by television ads which feature VH-1 presenter Julia Carling and the star of Men Behaving Badly, Leslie Ash. The commercials will run on both satellite and cable and will be supported by a national press campaign.

The channel's new look has been created by design agency Interbrand.

The channel, which originally launched in October 1996, is targeted at 25 to 54 year old women and will feature programmes on everything from homes and gardens, health and fitness to make overs with demonstrations, discussions, competitions and live phone-ins.

Granada Breeze will also launch its own Website with a Breeze Ideas page and a chat room where visitors can "make friends online".

Acting director of marketing, Kathleen Towler, said: "Granada Breeze will be live, spontaneous and great fun. We aim to make it the number one watched daytime channel for women."
