The new business branch, which will be headed up by managing director James Bruce – formerly head of e-business consultancy services at BT – will create solutions for clients on personal digital assistants (PDA's) and mobile phones.

The digital agency has also signed a deal with telecommunications company BT to be its preferred e-business solutions provider.

Gi Wireless will produce both business-to-consumer and business-to-business applications for its clients, and sits alongside Grey Interactive's iTV division.
