More Group is to launch two outdoor advertising formats in
The two new display styles are the scrolling 48-sheet and the ’Golden
Square’, a 20ft- square, front-lit elevated billboard. Both formats will
launch on 1 June at 20 locations in London.
More’s scrolling 48-sheet billboards, which will be the largest
scrolling format in the UK, will initially comprise three faces but this
will be extended to six by the end of the year.
The first advertiser to appear on the the Golden Square format will be
Yahoo! and ads for the dotcom will run for the first two weeks of
Saab has booked the poster sites for the second half of the month.
Julie France, sales and marketing director of More Group, said:
’Scrolling 48s will change the face of outdoor advertising as we know
it. With six faces, we will be in the unique position of offering
day-part advertising that no-one has done before. As a result, we might
eventually have morning, afternoon and evening advertisers.’
