Grout makes return to WWAV to take over international clients

Steve Grout, the former managing director of Carlson Marketing Group London, is joining WWAV Rapp Collins.

Grout, who is returning to WWAV after spells at other agencies, joins as the head of international to run a division of international clients including Dell, Pfizer and WorldCom. He left Carlson in April along with the fellow directors Marcus Evans and Nick Burton. The appointment completes WWAV's new management line-up following a restructure reported in Campaign last week. He joins on 1 September.

Grout was made redundant by Carlson following its decision to combine its London and Northampton operations. Before Carlson, Grout ran the Ford UK and Jaguar Worldwide accounts at Wunderman and was a director at WWAV.

Adam Coleman, the chief executive of WWAV Rapp Collins, said: "We're delighted to have Steve back. He's a bundle of energy and a great account man."
