Guardian backs music CD giveaway with national ad campaign

LONDON - The Guardian is giving away an exclusive 10-track CD on Saturday March 12, which will feature Bloc Party, Mercury Rev, Hal, British Sea Power and Kaiser Chiefs.

The free CD, called 'FCD', will be promoted through a national television, radio, print and online campaign.

Marc Sands, marketing director of The Guardian, said: "The 'FCD' has been created to appeal to potential Guardian readers and introduce them to our brilliant Saturday package."
