The agency, which was launched in March by the former Starcom directors Pete Edwards, Jez Groom and Will Saunders, will work alongside Mustoes, the creative agency on the business. Media buying for the launch of In the Know will be handled by Starcom.
H Bauer is planning to spend £10 million on the debut of the new women's title, which is expected to go head to head with Emap's recent creation First, as well as titles such as Closer and Reveal.
In the Know, Bauer's first women's weekly launch since That's Life in 1995, will be published on Tuesdays with a coverprice of £1. The first issue will be out on 29 August. The advertising for the new title is expected to launch in the same week.
