Half-Term Reports 2013: Elvis

Campaign asked the ad and media industry to rate and summarise their performance so far in 2013, ahead of our School Reports for 2014. Here's how Elvis view the first six months of their year.

Summary of the year so far: "2012 was a year of transition and International expansion for us. 2013 has been a breath of fresh air and allowed us to focus back on our core business in the UK. At the half way point, we have produced some of our very best work and added 3 major brands to our new business successes. In the work, we launched Virgin Trains "Fly" Campaign in TV and multimedia channels in March. Produced the world's first truly "Live Feed" for Compassion in World Farming. And encouraged the UK to "have a fling with a creme egg" in social and direct channels. As well as continuing to produce innovative work, the results show the work is addressing and over delivering against key business objectives. Virgin Trains have first stage results showing bookings have increased by record numbers, research following the Mondelez "Creme Egg" Facebook campaign has shown a unequivocable link between social activation, positive consideration shift and sales in both multiples and impulse, and the pigs certainly loved their freshly delivered apples. In new business, we have been successful in picking up 2 more brands from Mondelez, Wipsa and one more (confidential for now) and a major win in the consumer tech sector which we are unable to announce. 2013 has been a great year so far. Mainly because we are producing work we are very proud of, but also because our new business record is setting up fresh opportunities to produce great work for the end of 2013 and into 2014."

Awards won so far in 2013: "We have won awards at the MAA for our Magners"Made in the dark" work, and shortlisted for DADI awards for Cadbury Creme Egg "Have a fling with your egg" work. But most awards are handed out in the second half of the year."
