Half-Term Reports 2013: Maxus

Campaign asked the ad and media industry to rate and summarise their performance so far in 2013, ahead of our School Reports for 2014. Here's how Maxus view the first six months of their year.

Score (self-awarded): 8

Number of staff: 185

New business / billings: £313m Source :NMR

Summary of the year so far: "We started the year with a big new business win in the shape of ABF (£24m) and have continued to go from strength to strength. We’ve leapfrogged PHD, Walker and Vizeum to become the #8 agency in the UK; we’ve grown from 157 to 185 people and we’ve also retained all of our clients. It hasn’t all been about growth though. We’ve also been producing some amazing work and developing some great people. Cannes was a brilliant recognition of this as we came away with Silver for our Mercedes #Youdrive work and two of our brightest stars won the Global Young Lions competition – a truly incredible feat. We also brought in a brilliant new Head of Planning from PHD in the shape of Jenny Smith and promoted Steph Marks to the new role of Head of client Services. All in all a very positive six months indeed. "

Awards won so far in 2013: "Silver Media Lion – Cannes – Mercedes-Benz #youdrive Gold : Cannes Young Media Lions : Georgia Lindsay & Yewande Sokan IAB : Creative Showcase winner for June - Mercedes #YouDrive "
