Summary of the year so far: Three big standouts so far: 1.Our client of 28 years, McDonald’s, awarded Cannes Creative Marketer of the Year and Advertiser of Excellence at the British Advertising Awards-in their 40th year in the UK. All of that, plus 33 consecutive quarters of growth, makes us very proud of our contribution towards its success. 2.#LikeAGirl for Always has had 60-plus million views to date, topped the Campaign Viral Chart twice in three weeks and is the most viewed campaign in P&G history. 3.The first ever subversion of the ‘skip ad’ button, "Second Chance" for the BITC – won at Cannes, Creative Circle, BTAA, ADC NY and ANDYS. That wasn’t all. Group wins included NSPCC, Skyscanner, ghd, Art-Basel plus Shopper briefs for Mondelez, Brugal, Country Life, Clover, EU & Tassimo. Katie Lee became our managing director; two Pick of the Weeks in a month and two out of the IPA’s '10 Women of Tomorrow' in Kit Altin and Alice Hooper – both praised for setting up Leo Burnett Change. Our Brand Popularity research hit the national press and Arc was recognised as IPM’s Agency of the Year. And we also launched the World’s first fully interactive 24/7 digital OOH at McDonald’s Piccadilly Circus.

Awards won so far in 2014: 

Creative Circle:

BITC ‘Second Chance’ took all 3 Golds and a couple of Silvers in Online, Film, Radio and Best Innovation, while McDonald’s and The Tutor Crowd scored in Print and Best Outdoor respectively.

Cannes Lions 2013:

Our McDonald’s client won ‘Creative Marketer of the Year’, BITC won a further 3 Bronze Lions and Leo Burnett Worldwide recorded the highest number of Cannes awards in our history bringing home 64 Lions.

BTAA:

McDonald’s – Advertiser of Excellence and Silver & Bronze for BITC.

ADC NY and the ANDYS:

Silver & Bronze for BITC and Bronze for DfT/Drink-Drive ‘PubLooShocker’.

IPMs:

Agency of the Year & Grand Prix for RNLI for Arc, our brand activation division
