In the newly created role, Connolly is responsible for investment, operations and media performances across the group’s media agencies – Havas Media, Arena Media and Forward Media.
He has been tasked with leading the delivery of creative commercial solutions for clients across the three agencies.
Connolly started this week and will report to Julia Jordan, Havas Media Group’s managing director responsible for investment and solutions, whom joined from UKTV in July.
Jordan is leading the group’s specialist teams responsible for investment, digital, data and technology for clients. She is reorganising these teams to ensure the agencies are in the "best place to continue to invest in compelling, innovative solutions" for clients, Jordan said.
Before joining AudienceScience in 2013, Connolly was the managing director, Europe, for The Media Innovation Company, the WPP-owned ad tech shop, for a year and five months. He was previously at Adconion Media Group for three years, as head of commercial development and latterly as interim managing director.
