Haymarket Business Publications, publisher of PR Week, Marketing,
Campaign Media Business, Campaign and Revolution, is gearing up to
launch a new-media arm.
Mike Hewitt, former publishing director of Marketing, is fronting the
venture as new-media director.
Hewitt is keeping details of the company under wraps but said a
subscriber-based marketing/media site will launch later this year and
will feature web versions of Haymarket’s 12 marketing-related
The site will contain banner advertising, recruitment advertising,
sponsorship and a news e-mail service, which could be sponsored.
The publishing company is currently reviewing its contract with web
sales house DoubleClick, which sells advertising on behalf of its
