Haymarket, the publishing company that owns Campaign, is to launch its internet business and marketing magazine, Revolution, in the US.
Revolution will be based in New York and will launch in the Spring. It will be Haymarket's second US launch after PR Week, which launched in 1998.
Revolution was launched in the UK in June 1997 as a monthly title and went weekly in October 1999. The US title will be monthly and will be edited by its founding UK editor, Stovin Hayter.
The title will initially have a controlled circulation of 75,000 with plans to later move it onto the news stand. It will find itself competing against titles such as Future's Business 2.0, Advertising Age, Advertising Week, Red Herring and Industry Standard among others.
