Heal's reveals previously unseen historical ads

Heal's, the furniture retailer, has released previously unseen posters promoting its product ranges.

The Heal’s family sold the retail business to Terence Conran’s Storehouse Group in 1983 and gave the archive to the Victoria & Albert Museum. It included furniture designs and marketing materials.

During a renovation of the store over the past two years previously unseen posters have been discovered. These will be added to the V&A archive.

A small number of posters have been reprinted and available to buy.
