Heart clinches three-way sponsorship deal with Egg

sponsorship deal with Prudential’s online financial service provider

Egg.



The deal includes radio airtime sponsorship, banner ads on Heart’s

websites and a competition.



The competition is linked to the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show at Earl’s

Court. Five listeners will get the chance to win pounds 10,000 by living

in a purpose-built house inside the exhibition hall for the duration the

show, which runs from 16 March until 9 April.



The five volunteers will be required to carry a mobile phone and a radio

microphone at all times and might be put on-air at any time throughout

the day. The participants will be filmed and images will be broadcast on

Heart’s website.



A spokesperson for Chrysalis Radio said: ’The competition might seem

unusual, but hopefully we’ll increase traffic via our radio station onto

our websites, while promoting our brand to more than half a million

people at Earl’s Court.’



Heart’s sponsorship and promotions controller Martine Ainsworth-Wells

said: ’An investment of this size in a radio promotion is recognition

that radio now has the power to draw in clients to new-media ventures.’
