Benicio Del Toro, the Oscar-winning actor who has starred in Traffic and The Usual Suspects, fronts Heineken's new global campaign.
Publicis Worldwide’s New York and Paris offices created the TV ads, in which Del Toro comes to terms with being an international superstar who is constantly mistaken for other actors. In the first of three spots, Del Toro is interrupted by fans who think they’re haranguing Antonio Banderas. The campaign will run in 40 markets around the world in both English and Spanish. Andy Bird, who left Publicis’ London office for New York, was the chief creative officer on the campaign. The work was directed by Martin Werner through Reset.
