– Hello! has appointed a new advertising sales director and restructured its advertising department.

Loretta Williamson has been promoted to advertising director and a new position of commercial director has been created. She was previously deputy advertising director.

The changes follow the departure of advertising sales and development director, Jon Humphrey. He has become marketing director for ecommerce software firm, Stratum Media, but remains a non-executive director of Hello!

Sally Cartwright, publishing director at Hello!, said: "This restructuring gives Hello!'s advertising team the composition that it needs to face the future with confidence. The promotion of Loretta to ad director is clear recognition of her professional potential."
