Hotline: The Chancellor outlines plans in budget speech

The Chancellor, Alistair Darling, outlined plans in his budget speech for extra government funding to help deliver its pledge of "broadband for all".

Darling also said that creative industries, including advertising and media, would have access to a £2.5 billion slice of funding to be set aside for investment in "high-skilled jobs of the future".
