HOTLINE: Fans to use radio to follow World Cup

Research suggests that 36 per cent of football fans will use radio to follow World Cup action in June, according to Ipsos-RSL and the Radio Advertising Bureau. Just 15 per cent used the radio to follow the World Cup in 1998. The timing of matches, between 6.30am and 12.30pm UK time, is thought to be behind the increase.
