HOTLINE: The ITC orders Citroen C5 ad to be shown in later time slots

The Independent Television Commission has ordered that a Partners BDDH commercial for the Citroen C5 depicting a family of monsters should be shown in later time slots after 48 complaints that young children were frightened by it. But the ITC also refused to back 70 complaints about a Mattel commercial for a toy bouncy castle. Viewers claimed the Ogilvy & Mather spot encouraged children to copy a dangerous somersault.
