HOTLINE: Press campaign for US drama prompts complaints

A press campaign for the second series of the US drama Six Feet Under has prompted complaints to the Advertising Standards Authority. The ads are alleged to have caused offence by adopting the look of a luxurious skincare range, while featuring products such as embalming fluid and wound filler. The copy reads "Skin to die for" followed by "Available from Fisher & Sons funeral home". A spoof website, "luxurytodiefor.com", supports the campaign.
