Hotline: Telegraph Group chief exec steps down

Dan Colson, the chief executive of The Telegraph Group, is stepping down. He will be replaced by Jeremy Deedes, who retired last year as the managing director but returns until the ownership of the group is resolved. Separately, Hugo Drayton, the managing director of The Telegraph Group, denied that it had made a firm decision to launch a compact version of The Daily Telegraph.
