- Trinity Mirror's consumer internet service and portal, ic24, is set to launch a £5 million marketing campaign.
The news follows the recent announcement that the newspaper group is to invest £150 million in its new media operation, Trinity Mirror New Media.
The campaign has been created by Grey Advertising and is due to break this week. It will focus on the re-branding of the site and on the free internet access and free online time deals on offer.
The ads feature half a woman's face, with the letters 'ic' replacing her pupils. The campaign will comprise TV, print, and outdoor including taxis, Adshels and double-decker buses. It will be supported by a strong PR campaign.
