This hotel site is clever, informative and well designed. The designers have resisted the temptation of high-resolution pictures - the enemy of speedy applications - and have gone down the simplistic route.

This hotel site is clever, informative and well designed. The

designers have resisted the temptation of high-resolution pictures - the

enemy of speedy applications - and have gone down the simplistic

route.



They have used the Olympic Village symbols, rubbing shoulders with Saul

Bass en route, to achieve a format that will probably win them an

award.



This site is highly innovative in its outrageous strategy. Who, for

example, would allow a page saying ’even more dog shit in the main

entrance’? Or show you the view from your room - of a factory - or

recommend Alone or the Scream as bedtime reading? The Hans Brinker Hotel

site is a great example of how we might encourage more copywriters to

become involved in Website concepts.
