These two commercials for Tempo focus on the tissue’s strength.

These two commercials for Tempo focus on the tissue’s strength.

The first spot opens on two Chinese men sitting at the same table in a

restaurant. One starts shaking the pepper pot vigorously, spills its

entire contents on his food and begins to sneeze violently, a mishap

that affects his companion. The film cuts to a split screen, each side

showing a man standing behind a tissue at which a strong jet of water is

sprayed. One jet cuts straight through one of the tissues, but the jet

aimed at Tempo is deflected by the strength of the paper. The second ad

features a man at a tennis match who accidentally covers himself - and a

balding spectator sitting in front of him - with a fizzy drink.

The film cuts to two bald heads being polished by two different brands

of tissue, but the rival brand begins to tear.
