To launch Tuborg’s non-alcoholic beer, Super Light, Wibroe Duckert and Partners teamed up with an interactive specialist, ITE, to develop a TV ad allowing viewers to play a computer game. At the start of the commercial break, viewers are given a number to call if they want to take part. Later, a 90-second spot shows a viewer ’driving’ a Tuborg delivery truck through a maze using a touch-tone telephone keypad. If the truck hits a wall its sides drop down to reveal a brass band playing or a couple having sex. Viewers who reach the centre win a prize.
