IPA receives 60 entries for 2006 Effectiveness Awards

The IPA has received 60 entries from 30 agencies for its 2006 Effectiveness Awards.

The chairman of the judges for the competition, which is open to any agency from any country, will be Sir Paul Judge, the master of the Worshipful Company of Marketors.

He will be supported by Laurence Green, the managing partner of Fallon, as the convenor of judges, and Neil Dawson, the chairman of TBWA\London, as the dep-uty convenor of judges.

There are two judging panels. One is made up of client judges, while the second contains representatives from within the industry.

This year's Grand Prix will be presented at a ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane hotel on Monday 30 October.

Judge said: "The IPA has assembled an ingenious, inventive and imaginative panel of judges. The panels are ready for a wide range of inspirational submissions to which they can apply their intellect and insight."

Green added: "The IPA Awards is the highest court of effectiveness in the world, where the best case studies meet the finest client brains."

Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and DDB London jointly won the title of IPA Effectiveness Agency of the Year at the most recent awards, in 2004.
