IPC loses third director to internet TV start-up

Sean Singleton, who was sports publisher at IPC, is to become managing director of Switch2's sports channel. He joins fellow ex-IPC employees Tim Southwell and Adrian Pettett who recently left their positions as editor and publisher at Loaded.

Switch2 has also hired another former IPC employee in Paul Hawksbee, who is the ex-editor in chief of IPC's football group. Hawksbee joins as head of programming for the sports channel.

Singleton was instrumental at IPC in developing internet opportunities for the sports group, in particular 'World Soccer' and 'Rugby World'.

Switch2 is plans to offer branded channels including music, film, comedy, sport and games as part of an on demand internet based TV entertainment network.
