Jack Wills, the fashion retailer known for its preppy clothes, has appointed Havas Work Club as its digital agency in the UK.

Havas Work Club won the account after a competitive pitch. The agency will be tasked with handling strategic and creative work for the brand. Activity will span a variety of platforms but there will be a focus on mobile.

This is the first time Jack Wills has appointed a retained digital agency in the UK. The company last held a pitch for a creative shop in 2012. It appointed CHI & Partners to its global business but the relationship has been dormant for some time.

Jack Wills was founded in 1999. It initially marketed itself with the line "university outfitters" but has since changed its proposition to "fabulously British".
