In 2014, Gooding took up the role of chair of trustees for LGBT charity Stonewall. This year, she has furthered her fight for diversity within marketing as a founding member of PrideAM, a leadership group for LGBT people in advertising. Gooding believes that the only true way for marketers to get it right for a diverse set of consumers is to be guided by an inclusive team. This year, consultancy Brand Finance named Aviva "The UK’s only £1bn insurance brand with AAA brand-strength rating", giving it top ranking.
