Jones Mason Barton Antenen has poached Rod Marsh, an award-winning
senior art director at Rapier, to partner the start-up’s creative
director, Simon Antenen.
Marsh’s appointment reunites the pair, who were colleagues at Limbo,
although this is their first creative partnership. At Limbo, Marsh
worked on the agency’s flagship Audi client.
He then joined Evans Hunt Scott, where he was a creative group head on
the RAC, BMW and Sun Alliance - for which he won a John Caples
At Rapier, Marsh was part of the team which won the Cable & Wireless
account and also worked on Eurostar, Barclays Bank and Direct Line. The
C&W work won gold at the Direct Marketing Awards last year.
Antenen said: ’There are so many people who take an idea and then art
direct it out of existence. Rod is very strong on the ideas. He comes up
with his own and makes everything very simple, clean and fresh.’
Marsh commented: ’It’s a fantastic opportunity. I’m interested in the
big ideas and being able to spin them off into the appropriate media -
which is something that I will be able to do at Jones Mason.
