Peter Flett, client services director at Joshua, has left after

less than a year to join OgilvyOne, where he will take on the role of

promoting the network’s London office as the hub for international

business.

’It is an open brief,’ Flett commented, ’and I’ll be working across a

range of OgilvyOne clients to build pan-European campaigns.’

Flett joined Grey Direct in May last year, before the merger with Grey

Integrated to form Joshua, which took place six months after his arrival

(Campaign, 6 November 1998). At Joshua, Flett was responsible for

international clients such as Pedigree Masterfoods, Procter & Gamble,

Toyota Europe, SAS and Nokia phones. He also led the successful pitch

for Amnesty International, which the agency picked up last year.

Before joining Joshua, Flett spent two years at Wunderman Cato Johnson

as a board director, working for clients including United Airlines, Star

Alliance and Adobe.

Mike Dodds, a management partner at OgilvyOne, said: ’Peter offers an

excellent blend of strategic thinking and leadership across disciplines;

he has an instinctive understanding of the importance of the brand

within direct communication.’

Flett added: ’I always knew that I’d wind up at OgilvyOne. There’s a

whole lot of sharp cookies there and great opportunities ahead.’
