Just one week to go until Media Week Awards 2016

The countdown is on for the Media Week Awards 2016, the most important night of the year for UK commercial media, that takes place in seven days' time.

A who’s who of media will be attending the black tie dinner for more than 1,000 people at Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s West End on 20 October and a limited number of tickets are still available.

Find out who will win the battle for Agency of the Year between Carat, Goodstuff Communications, MEC, OMD, PHD and last year's winner, the7stars.

There is also the hard-fought contest for Sales Team of the Year between Channel 4, Exterion Media, Facebook, ITV, Sky and Trinity Mirror.

Other leading groups in the hunt include MediaCom, which was shortlisted more than any other agency with 19 nominations across all categories.

These prestigious awards matter because they are judged by the industry’s own leaders.

Jenny Biggam, co-founder of the7stars, and Simon Daglish, deputy managing director of commercial of ITV, are the co-chairs of judges.
