JWT appoints Hamilton worldwide creative director

- J.Walter Thompson has named Bill Hamilton as a worldwide creative director. He becomes the third worldwide creative director at the agency, joining Larry Tolpin at JWT West and Allen Thomas at JWT in London.

Hamilton, who will be based in New York, will be responsible for developing global creative standards. He will also work on the £42 million ($70 million) Merrill Lynch account, which the agency won globally earlier this year.
