- J. Walter Thompson has announced the formation of a new international direct marketing network -- ThompsonConnect Worldwide which will have billings of $250 million.
ThompsonConnect Worldwide brings together 21 offices and replaces three existing blow the line brands, namely JWT Direct, Dialog and Enterprise.
In addition two new offices are being added in Chicago and San Francisco, joining those in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
The new network will form part of JWT's Total solutions group. It will be headed up by Michael Graham, CEO of Total Solutions Group, who takes on the title CEO of ThompsonConnect.
JWT does not have a below the line company in London at the moment, but a spokesman said a London office of ThompsonConnect will be launched in the near future, either by building up from scratch or through acquisition.
