JWT stands out as UK makes muted impact in Outdoor Lions

CANNES 2010 - UK agencies secured just 11 nominations in the Outdoor Lions category at the Cannes Advertising Festival, with Brazil amassing 82 out of 419 nominations and Germany 36.

JWT achieved four nominations, leading the field of UK agencies. It got three for Kimberly Clark's brand of Kleenex tissues and their 'King/Fool', 'Yes/No' and 'Glory/Failure' campaigns.

JWT also scooped a nomination for 'Snow Stamp' for Nestlé's Polo Mint sweets.

BBH and DDB followed behind with two nominations each.

BBH scooped two nominations for 'Snow Prints' for Lynx Bullet and DDB received two nominations for its 'Winter Sale' ad for Harvey Nichols.

DLKW, M&C Saatchi and Saatchi & Saatchi each received one nomination.

Last year UK agencies secured 23 nominations out of 512 in total and the Grand Prix went to TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris for a campaign for The Zimbabwean newspaper.
