JWT's latest TV work for Dairylea extends animated cow motif

J. Walter Thompson has unveiled its latest TV spot for Kraft Dairylea, which tries to reinforce the goodness of the brand, using the animated cows that are featured on the product's packaging.

"Cow manoeuvres", the second in the series for Dairylea spreads and triangles, illustrates the versatility of the product through the cows' antics.

In the ad, cows tiptoe into a barn where they set up a makeshift kitchen, boil some pasta and stir in Dairylea. They then climb on to a motorcycle with a sidecar and speed off with two plates of the pasta. One of the gang is ejected from his seat and leaves the dishes on the windowsill of a house. The ad ends with the end: "Herds of Dairylea goodness."

The TV campaign will run on terrestrial and satellite channels and will be supported at point of sale.

The ad was written and art directed by Anthony Smith and directed by Michael Wright at Aardman Animation. Media is through ZenithOptimedia.
