Bartle Bogle Hegarty has recruited the big-name photographer, Nadav

Kander, to create the launch campaign for Salvatore Ferragamo Parfums,

marking the agency’s first work since winning the account in

January.

The global campaign consists of a stark black-and-white ad showing a man

gently kissing the inside of a woman’s wrist. The endline, ’Notice

everything’, will be translated into French, Spanish and Italian when

the ad runs in those countries but will remain in English for the rest

of the world.

The ad, which was written by Jayne Marar and art directed by Jo Webb,

also features the distinctive, intricately designed perfume bottle.

It will run globally from October in style magazines such as Elle, Vogue

and Marie Claire, as well as weekend newspaper supplements. Media will

be mostly handled by Zenith Media in Europe, but local agencies will

handle buying outside of Europe.

Felicity Ross, an account director at BBH who works on Ferragamo, said:

’The perfume launch is about re-energising the Ferragamo brand.

Ferragamo’s philosophy has always been classics with a twist, but with

attention to detail. This launch will open the brand up to a younger

audience. ’

The fragrance is the product of a partnership between Salvatore

Ferragamo, the Italian luxury leather goods company, and Bulgari, the

Italian jeweller.

BBH won the account in a pitch involving Saatchi & Saatchi in Rome and

London.

1 Why creative people have lost their way

What better way to kick off Campaign's relaunch than with another think piece on the current failings of our industry, written by an embittered, pretentious creative who misses "the way things used to be"...
