- The resignations continued at Kellogg this week with the departure of Tom Knowlton, the cereal company's top US marketer.

He is the third senior executive to exit Kellogg this month coming a week after Donald Fritz, president of Kellogg Europe, announced he was quitting and Jeffrey Merrihue, the European market development manager, left to join Initiative Media.

No successor has yet been named to replace Knowlton, who has been involved with the company's review of agencies which could see a fourth US shop added to the company's roster. Leo Burnett, J Walter Thompson and Burrell Communications are the cereal giant's current roster shops.
