O’Dea, who was president of worldwide client services at O&M, becomes
Bozell’s vice-chairman of international operations and global client
development - a new role insiders describe as ’making the network
He will be responsible for the running of the network in all markets
outside the US. The job is London-based.
O’Dea was moved out of O&M’s Canary Wharf office to an unspecified post
in New York last August, shortly after the agency’s loss of lead status
on Ford of Europe.
His post has been created at a time when the Bozell holding company,
True North, is attempting to strengthen its non-US operations, which
account for only 28 per cent of its revenues.
Bozell is also expected to announce a replacement for Brian Tucker, the
recently retired president of European operations, within two weeks.
