Kerry calls £13m media pitch

Kerry Foods has called a pitch for its £13 million UK and Ireland media planning and buying account.

The business is currently split between Vizeum and Universal McCann in the UK and Starcom in Ireland. It is understood that the company plans to consolidate the entire business into one agency. The review is being overseen by the AAR and all three incumbents are expected to repitch.

Kerry Foods, whose brands include Wall's, Mattessons and Richmond Sausages, appointed Fallon to handle its £5 million Cheestrings account last week after a pitch against undisclosed agencies.

The food group took Quiet Storm off the Cheestrings account in September, although the agency continues to handle a number of brands for Kerry Foods, including Mattessons and Mr Brain's Faggots.

Kerry Foods' most recent TV campaign was by Quiet Storm, for Fridge Raiders Chicken Bites in April.
